Why Choose Video

The beauty of video is that it is able to capture the whole day, from the  Improvements in technology the need
for less artificial light can allow  Onscreen Video Production to capture the day's events without actually being
a part of it. Your wedding DVD is a great way to capture moments you may otherwise miss.

Only an experienced wedding videographer can capture all the details of your special day, from  preparations at
the beginning , through the emotional events of the ceremony, and the excitement of the reception.

You have only one chance to be sure your wedding day is professionally captured....just one chance to be sure
all of the emotions, the love and laughter are preserved for you to share again and again.

When viewing DVD samples, look at the clarity and quality of the wedding DVD, as well as the details of
shooting and editing.

Onscreen Video Production has invested in professional digital video editing equipment and video cameras
as a result, your wedding video can look and sound as good as any program you may see on broadcast television
A professionally produced wedding video can be enhanced with the use of  effects such as slow-motion,
black & white, Sepia and dreamy dissolves that make your video flow from beginning to end.

Today, some brides opt for video coverage to begin on the morning of their wedding, while others begin
coverage far in advance.

Each wedding DVD Onscreen Video Production produces can be completely tailored to suit your individual

Choosing the Wedding Videographer for your Wedding

Most brides dream of there big day years before and then are absolutely blown away how fast there wedding day goes,
that is why choosing the perfect wedding video producer is of the highest priority.

You have only one chance to be sure your wedding day is professionally captured. Being referred to a wedding videographer who has captured a friends wedding would be a great way to begin your search for the perfect wedding videographer. These day’s a lot of wedding videographers have samples of their work on there websites which should give you an understanding of their style of work.

From my experience a lot of couples go on price and not quality and then that’s when you hear all the stories (the quality of the DVD was no good, you could NOT hear the vows)well sorry but by that stage it is way to late to do anything about it.

Make an appointment to view the videographers work don’t just see one sample but ask to see one more and asking them all the questions clients ask me (please refer to the above article). Also ask to see the equipment which will be used on the day.

If you know you’re not going to get the videographer you are having the meeting with ask to see camera work of the camera man that is going to tape your day but most times they would all have the same style as the main videographer.

Just remember a Professional Wedding Video Producer is the only one that can capture all the import moments, the vows captured professionally with a lap mic, what about that first kiss and the speeches I have just mentioned a few different samples.

At Onscreen Video Production we guarantee you the highest quality in our work. We treat all our weddings with the same passion and flair.

Blu-Ray (the future is near) March 2008

Blu-ray discs are a very new media format which are used to record in my field high definition wedding videos or store huge amounts of data. They look and feel exactly like a DVD disc but deep down they are nothing alike.
Traditional DVD discs can hold up to 4.7gigs of information on a single layer disc or just over 8gigs on a dual layer disc.
Blu-ray discs can hold 25gigs on a single layer disc and 50gigs on a dual layer disc and currently in progress companies are working on producing a quad layer 100gig disc but remember they can not be played in a DVD player they need a Blu-ray player to work which can also play standard DVD’s.
In January 2008 major electronic distributors announced they will no longer be producing HD DVD discs and players which caused the larger retail stores and online stores to stop sell HD DVD discs. Following these new developments it has allowed Blu-ray Disc to become the industry standard for high-density optical disks.
The struggle between Blu-ray and HD-DVD on which format to choose has been decided and now the next phase in wedding videos is High Definition video recorded on Blu-Ray discs.

Conclusion
At this present time it is still very expensive to produce Blu-Ray DVD’s because of the cost of the discs and burners. Major DVD authoring programs are still working on program updates but in saying I think since we now know there is only one player in producing High Definition DVD’s (Blu-Ray) things should move quicker and we should see price reductions and improvements within the next year or two.
